Without Sir Fred I would be dead by now. Without Sir Fred millions of others would have died before their time.

Without the homestead, Sir Fred would not have been the man he was. To restore the homestead and turn it into a camp for diabetic children is a wonderful idea and you have my whole hearted support.

Thank you, Sir Fred, for the gift of my life.

Iam a 90 year, young, geezer,insulin-dependent, since1977.SONNEE COHEN and I visited the BANTING HOMESTEAD, in 1978,and will never forget the feelings I experienced. Here I was on the property of the man whose discovery of INSULIN,the reason I am alive. Since then I have been on a journey to reach as many insulin-users, worldwide, that if they are enjoying a healthy lifestyle, they should STAND UP AND BE COUNTED and support the RESTORATION OF THE BANTING HOMESTEAD, Working closely with the BANTING FAMILY ,we are making inroads in making the property a diabetic camp for children.BOB BANTING,a relative can tell you about our working together to ATTAIN THE IMPOSSIBLE.

This is great - I get all emotional when I think of what Banting & Best have done. I'm alive because of them!
I hope to be able to cross the world and visit this place some time. Very pleased that people are looking after it and protecting it. Keep it up

What a tremendous job you have done here! I'm going to forward this website to my friends. Word of mouth is a powerful tool, but a picture is worth a thousand words. Good luck with your fundraising! Pat Guinn

Great web site. Sir Fredrick Banting's heritage should live on forever.

I agree with Rick D, we should pass this link onto all we know. I am.

This web-site needs to be sent world wide. EVERYONE knows someone with diabetes. $1.00 per person at a time.

My donation of $250.00 is on it's way to honour my Aunt Violet. She is with us, and always will be.

Laughter and Love,

Richard D.
